As the retrospective nears its close, it's time to look at who I would've awarded awards to for the year of 2014, as seen through a lens ten years removed from it. I include almost all of the Oscar categories, as well as some other more fun superlative categories that can normally be seen on the Pickle Awards each year. I also compare my nominations to the ACTUAL Oscar nominations to see how I aligned with the Academy. It is always fun looking back, but the task is always immensely difficult, so let me know if you have any snubs, surprises, or who your winners would be for the year of 2014.

A film about nostalgia, distinct 90s aesthetics, the trans experience, gender dysmorphia, the self-discovery aided by the media we consume, the horrors of living as someone else and the power of breaking through, the magic of Phoebe Bridgers. Welcome to another episode for one of our favorite shows on the Dyl Pickle Movie Network called DRAFT DAY, where we take a topic and draft through a specific range of categories pertaining to the overall topic.
