We’re back with "PICTURE THIS," an exploration through every Best Picture nominee ever. This month, hosts Dylan Randazzo and Chadwick Webb are looking at the nominees of 1966 (for the 1967 ceremony) as part of our YEAR OF CLASSICS. The slate of movies are “Alfie,” “A Man For All Seasons,” “The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming!,” “The Sand Pebbles,” and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” We are also so lucky to be joined by an esteemed guest, Malcolm Lay (Take 3 Productions) who came to champion one of his favorite films of all time.
We break down each nominee individually, discuss some other notable 1966 movies, and in the end, we will rank the nominees ourselves to determine OUR Best Picture winner of 1966. We will also award prizes to our best actors and actresses of these five films.
Also, make sure to stick around for the end, where we will announce NEXT month's year in Oscars history.
