GUY TORRY is not only a fantastic actor but from movies like American  History X, LIFE, The Animal, Pearl Harbor, RIDE, TRIPPIN', and many more, he's an innovative and hilarious stand-up comedian. Guy is currently on the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show.  A native of St.  Louis, Mo, and Torry followed in his brother's (Joe Torry) footsteps and stepped on stage, grabbed a mic, and began "Killing Them Laughing."

  Guy is a 27-year veteran whose comedy has crossed over to mainstream  America. In 1995 Guy created the hottest and most crucial comedy night in comedy, Phat Comedy Tuesdays at the World Famous Comedy Store. He was recently featured on TV One’s “UNSUNG HOLLYWOOD”  His style is like a pot of Gumbo. It's a slice of Lenny Bruce, a pinch of Chris Rock, a dash of his brother and Martin Lawrence, a clove of Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor, and stirred with some Kings of Comedy and George Carlin. It all comes together to tease your pallet with flavor and will have you sucking on the funny bone.

Actor, Screenwriter, and producer, Ted Lange of Love Boat fame, also stopped by The E-Spot with Camille to share his latest play, Blues in My Coffee, about a love story at a Starbucks. Ted Lange, a graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, has written over 25 plays. At the 2022 National Black Theater Festival, Lange gave a reading of his play 'Blues in My Coffee 'on August 4. An award-winning theater director, Lange received the Artistic Director Achievement Award for directing an original play for his comedy, Lemon Meringue Façade,  and the Dramalogue Award for Outstanding Directing of The Visit, which was later turned into a film. Lange received the NAACP’s Renaissance Man Theater Award in Los Angeles, the Heroes and Legends' Lifetime Achievement Award, the Paul Robeson Award from the Oakland Ensemble Theater,  the James Cagney Directing Fellow Scholarship Award from the American Film Institute, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his work on The Love Boat.

Emmy-award-winning actor Giancarlo Esposito talks about starting his career as an actor and how he navigated colorism when auditioning as a Black-Italian-American actor. Heather is a strong advocate of STEM education and is committed to providing opportunities for students of all ages to get excited and engaged with technology. She grew up in Atlanta and lived in Nashville, Chicago, and Los Angeles before settling down in the NC Triangle in 2000. She received a BA from Vanderbilt University and later graduated with an MA in Film Studies from the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
