Kate is back and this time she is hosting (with some help from Maitreyi).  This episode will feature a few new segments for the summer (Outside the Nest and This or That) along with some returning favorites (Play What!, Joke of the Week and Poetry Corner).  Here's the rundown!

Outside the Nest: Olivia will give you all the information about "Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation" on Sunday, June 12th from 11 to 1 PM in downtown Ann Arbor, MI (don't worry you can still donate online if you cannot make it).

This or That: Avery will be asking random Emerson students if they prefer "This" or "That" in this new segment.  Avery will be bringing more additions over the summer.

Joke of the Week with Ellie!

Play What!: Fayfay returns to share the piece that helped her get accepted into The Shanghai Conservatory of Music this fall.  Congratulations Fayfay, we are all so proud of you!

Poetry Corner: Evan shares his poem about our mascot "The Eagle"

Maitreyi returns to host this episode which includes a new segment for those who want to know where to travel this summer, "Away From the Nest" which is brought to us by Serena.  Ellie has an original poem about summer, Roshan will be sharing the Joke of the Week.  Maitreyi has a rundown of what happened "This Week In History" June 1 to June 7th.  Arvind and Cody will dive deeper into what happened on June 6th, 1944.  

Arzoee returns to host this edition of The Eagle's View where is it all about going green (for the environment).  This week fifth graders Kate and Maitreyi will be discussing ways we can protect the environment by traveling in some unique vehicles. Fourth grader Caleb will talk about the importance of conserving fuel. Evan has the Joke of the Week and Jack will be sharing one of his favorite recipes.

Serena is back to host yet another episode of "The Eagle's View".  This time she will be introducing another new segment called, "Yay or Nay" in which Emerson students have a friendly discussion based on their opinion of a topic.  This time it will be fifth graders Lucas and Maitreyi discussing "Maniac Magee" by Jerry Spinelli.  Also fourth graders Hema, Elle and Evan join in with a PSA, Joke of the Week and an original poem based on "Song for a Whale."  

Fourth grader Arzoee takes over as the host this week.  In this edition of The Eagle's View you will hear from fifth grader Avery as she tells the story of a day in the life on an elephant.  Another fifth grader Jackson has the Joke of the Week.  While fourth graders Evan teaches us not to pollute and an original poem by none other than our host...Arzoee!

Fourth graders Evan and Nathan take over hosting duties this week.  The Emerson Quiz Bowl has brought home another state championship and Abraham shares what it takes to be a quiz bowl champion.  Fayfay shares the "Joke of the Week".  There are three new segments this week!  Fourth grader Caleb breaks down the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship in the sports report.  Fourth grader Arvind shares his grandmothers recipe on "Cooking With Eagles".  The fifth grade is working tirelessly on their passion project and Elizabeth, Fayfay, Kate and Maitreyi wrote an original play with their subjects playing the characters.  Enjoy!
