Fourth graders Evan and Nathan take over hosting duties this week.  The Emerson Quiz Bowl has brought home another state championship and Abraham shares what it takes to be a quiz bowl champion.  Fayfay shares the "Joke of the Week".  There are three new segments this week!  Fourth grader Caleb breaks down the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship in the sports report.  Fourth grader Arvind shares his grandmothers recipe on "Cooking With Eagles".  The fifth grade is working tirelessly on their passion project and Elizabeth, Fayfay, Kate and Maitreyi wrote an original play with their subjects playing the characters.  Enjoy!

In this edition of The Eagles View, fourth grader Nathan is interviewed about Climate Change and what we should stop doing about it.  Also, first grader Finn has The Joke of the Week and a group of fifth graders share their rendition of Edgar Allen Poe's classic "The Raven".

Sixth grader Elliott joins us to break down what events take place during Science Olympiad.  Fourth grader Jack has the "Joke of the Week" and fourth grader Eric has a message about keeping our oceans free of pollution.  

We are back after a short Mid Winter Break to share with you what is going on at Emerson.  We are going to start with fifth grader Jackson and his interview with sixth graders Quinn and Drew as they discuss one Aquaphonics project “Salmon in the Classroom.”  Kierra from fourth grade shares the "Joke of the Week".  Fifth grader Lucas tells us how we can help the LBTQ+ community through a donation drive.  Finally fourth grader Vincent has another public service announcement about how pollution does not just affect humans but so many others.

The students at Emerson have a wide variety of talents that they would love to share.  One of those talents is this school is surrounded by amazing musicians and we would like to showcase them in a new segment called "Play What!"  Fifth Grader Fayfay will start us off with her rendition of Chopin etude op.25 no.11. “Winter Wind”.
