In this week's episode, we dive into one of the quirkiest events in the world – the Nordic Hot Springs Hair Freezing Contest in Yukon, Canada. Each year, brave participants dip into hot springs in freezing temperatures, styling their hair into bizarre frozen masterpieces. The catch? The temperature needs to drop to at least -20°C (-4°F) for the magic to happen. However, this year's contest faced an unusual setback: the weather just wasn’t cold enough to freeze hair! Join us as we discuss what happens when nature doesn't cooperate, the history of this fun and frosty tradition, and how Yukon's winter wonderland is still a must-see destination, even without frozen hair art.

For more about the contest and to plan for next year, visit their official website here.
