Routine monitoring flagged more: four hot nests in total, all within the heavily contained F-Area Tank Farm. Wasps generally don’t stray far—so no danger outside the facility. Experts say the nests likely picked up radioactive sediment during cleanup ops—not an imminent health threat, but a striking reminder of lingering Cold War fallout.

Designed by local artist-engineer Kuya Magik, the project merges traditional perya (carnival) culture with modern entertainment to boost Cebu’s tourism and global recognition. 

Measured on July 5, 2025, by Engr. Noel Aguilar Jr. to meet Guinness standards and officially certified on July 21, 2025, this feat took months of design work, 4,500+ screws, 100 meters of cabling—and just five days to assemble on site.
