Andreas concludes our series on the The Upside of Brokenness by looking at James 1:2 and Romans 5:3-5, which call us to rejoice in suffering, because of the possibility of growth it can produce.

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another..." Jesus says this, but we often have a hard time with doing this. And this very thing, love from one another, is crucial in helping us land on the "Upside of Brokenness."

Peter Reynolds looks at the Old Testament story from Genesis 50:15-21 of Joseph (he of the amazing dream coat) and consider how we can find God and Remain Faithful even in the Midst of Brokenness.

This world is a bit broken. There will still be hard things in life that happen.  That’s not being removed.  But in the midst of them…we can have peace.

Ken introduces our new series "The Upside of Brokeness" as he shares that through Jesus we can find an "Upside" to the trauma and brokenness we experience.  We try to use God to change our circumstances, while in fact…He is using our circumstances to change us.

Those 1st Century Israelites experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit during the feast of Pentecost and asked: “What does this mean?”  We are going to ask that same question as Ken wraps up ...

Andreas takes a look at how the Holy Spirit bears the fruit in our lives found in Galatians 5:22-23. Here, he will discuss how the evidence of the Holy Spirit is primarily about character, not charisma.
