Tonight on The Edge of Liberty we exposed the absolute disconnect between our ruling class and the reality on the ground. While the Department of Homeland Security is effectively shuttered due to a funding lapse, Gavin Newsom and a delegation of Democrats are 6,000 miles away sipping champagne at the Munich Security Conference. We call it "Schnitzel While Rome Burns."
Then we dove into the "Epstein Backfire." Congress demanded a hit list but the DOJ gave them a phone book. More disturbingly, we found out the DOJ was tracking every search made by House members. We broke down the difference between the "Predators" and the "Passengers" and explained why the outrage machine is frantically pivoting to the SAVE Act to distract you.
Segment 1: Schnitzel While Rome Burns
It is Monday and the DHS is unfunded. ICE agents are working without pay guarantees. The border is a sieve. So where is California Governor Gavin Newsom? He is in Germany at the Munich Security Conference telling the global elite that "Trump is temporary."
We played the clips. The arrogance is suffocating. They shut down the government over the "Minneapolis incident" demands but they have plenty of time to fly to Europe to apologize for America. It is a clear message: They care more about the applause of foreign dignitaries than the safety of American citizens.
Segment 2: The DOJ Trap & The "List"
Be careful what you wish for. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie demanded the unredacted Epstein files. They got them. But the DOJ played a card nobody saw coming. They released a list that included the people investigating the case and revealed they were logging congressional searches.
We also discussed my latest Op-Ed regarding the "Active vs. Passive" participants. The internet is losing its mind over Chris Tucker flying on a plane in 2002 while ignoring the people named in "torture video" emails. We cut through the noise and separated the real predators from the clickbait.
