I have a riddle for you...  If a leaf falls off the tree green then turns brown is it really green or is it brown?  Stay tuned this will make a difference in your compost.

There are so many reasons I don't buy packaged potting soil or packaged compost but there is a new reason and that is Legionnaires' Disease.

Only a few countries have requirements to put warning labels on potting soil and compost packaging.    Here in the US I didn't even know this was a thing!

Yikes!!  Is this really a thing?  Legionella Bacteria is not something that has something I thought I would be talking about in regards to gardening.

I have picked up the phone to let people know that I love that are gardeners to warn them, especially if they are immunocompromised.

If you're looking for a boost to your 'Garden Ego'... GROW RADISHES!

Radishes are easy, quick and also one of those highly nutritious cruciferous veggies.

Even though I'm not a radish lover I grow radishes for so many other reasons.  

Radishes are great soil builders. 

Radishes are great fumigants.

Radishes look really pretty when the bolt and put off a pretty little flower.
