Progress monitoring, fading, and implementation fidelity are HUGE components of any intervention. In Episode 13 we looked at these pieces when it came to common practices. In today's episode, #14, we look at these same components as it relates to Data and Systems. Dr. Heather Hatton joins us once again; this time, answering the same questions as Dr. Sara McDaniel (Episode 13) but from the lens of data and systems:
- can't you just tell if an intervention is working
- what's the point of intervention data
- how can we monitor intervention data so that it's not overwhelming and super time consuming
- what do we do if implementation fidelity isn't happening
- what do you do if a student isn't make progress but implementation fidelity is in place
- how do you know when it's time to fade and graduate a student from an intervention
