February 12, 20214. Chasing HappinessOn this episode we talk the pursuit of happiness. We all want it, and we all believe that, come what may, we can get it. We determine our life choices and circumstances by how they lead us to the happiness we desperately want. If they come up short, we regret the track we’ve taken, or make judgements that we think have a better chance of getting us closer to being HAPPY. Ask yourself: What does happiness mean to you? What do you really want?Happiness means different things to different people. Are you chasing happiness or something else? We really can’t choose to feel happy all the time, and we really don’t want to. But we can choose what emotions serve us best in the balance between positive and negative. Learn how to enjoy the moment and be able to get the most out of this life and those painful, yet vital moments of growth and become a better version of yourself. February 05, 20213. What's your role in the drama triangle? In this episode we will be covering different roles we might be playing on the ‘drama triangle’, first described by Stephen Karpman in 1961.Do you often feel hopeless? Is anger your first reaction when circumstances come up? Do you tend to blame others when things aren't going your way? Do you feel the need to save others and end up overdoing it?Here we are playing one of the three roles on the drama triangle: the victim, the persecutor, or the rescuer. These roles tend to create drama in any type of relationship and leave us feeling like things our of our control. I know through personal experience, how easy it is to slip into any of these roles; however, once we learn to recognize the game and apply the tools that work, we will enjoy having healthier relationships, and become more assertive and empowered.
