Tanya Cole-Lesnick has been a psychotherapist and coach since 1995. She received her master’s degree in social work from New York University after group therapy changed her life. She has extensive experience in outpatient hospital mental health, private practice, and wellness center settings. Today I have Lachlan Dunn back with me to talk about shadow values, subconscious projection, and the kind of growth that only happens through exploration. We all, and adults especially, subconsciously project our own programming onto those around us, particularly our children. Everything we project out into the world gets reflected back at us and we don't always like what we see. Children love to question everything, and we need to let them do that.
