Episode 6: Christ Enters the Human Story
Series: Week 2 – Recapitulation (Restoration)
In this episode of The Encouraging Word, Pastor Eric reflects on the mystery of Christ entering fully into the human story. Rooted in Scripture and the Recapitulation tradition, this devotional explores how God does not restore humanity from a distance, but by stepping into our shared life—our joys, our wounds, our limitations—and renewing it from within.
In Jesus, God gathers up the whole human experience and lives it faithfully. What was fractured through sin is not abandoned but taken up, healed, and redirected toward life. Salvation begins not by escape from humanity, but by its restoration in Christ.
