I take a look at New England customs, issues for preachers during that time, and why Edwards was eventually fired from his pastorate. Today I'm reviewing Reagan Rose's new book, "Redeeming Productivity". I've followed Reagan for a long time, and his consistently Godly approach to stewardship is encouraging, biblical, wise, and practical. I'm always encouraged by his work, and his new book is no different. Recommended.

Am I serving God correctly? What if I'm missing some big purpose in life He wants me to do? Never fear, dear sister or brother, God's purposes for all of us are the same, to repent, believe, and glorify Him. If he has some specific purpose for you in mind, trust that He, in His power, will make it known by circumstantial or spiritual ways (not by a voice, a donkey, a burning bush, or any other prophetic means in these New testament times.)
