Paul prays in Ephesians that we would know how much God loves us. That we would be rooted and established in His love. This and so much more in this powerful prayer! 

Freedom, near, confidence, accessibility - this is how Ephesians describes our relationship with God. We are close to Him, forever. We can have freedom and confidence with Him. And we have access to Him all the time! 

You are God's prized possession. He loves you as much as He loves Jesus. He takes great delight in you. In Ephesians 1, Paul prays that we would understand this. 

You are God's favorite! He loves and likes everything about who you are. Ephesians 1:6 says you are "favored in the beloved." What does it mean to be favored by God? 

We live, obey, and serve FROM God’s blessing, not for Him to bless us. We are already blessed with all we need (Eph. 1:3; 2 Peter 1:3).

Saints. Faithful. In Christ. This is our identity as children of God. This isn’t something you become through effort or obedience. This is who you already are at salvation. 

When you do a search for sinner in the New Testament, it never refers to believers. A believer is never called a sinner in the New Testament. When you do a search for the word saint in the New Testament, you see the word used more than sixty times, and it’s always referring to those who believe in Christ. You are no longer just a sinner. You are a saint!

The abundant life isn't a perfect set of circumstances. The abundant life is not perfect health or perfect wealth. The abundant life is Jesus. And if you're in Him, then you have abundant life in every moment!
