I made this remix after discovering the original track and being moved by its ethnic spirit and the soul of Bashkortostan, where Ay Yola come from. Their unique blend of ancient Bashkir folk traditions with modern sounds inspired me to reinterpret the track in a progressive house style while keeping its essence. I’m sharing this version as a personal tribute to their culture and music—hope you feel the same connection I did.

I highly recommend checking out the original track, as well as exploring the group and the region they come from, to fully feel the inspiration behind this remix.

I hope you’re having a nice and cozy beginning of autumn.

This month’s episode is inspired by my trip to Chicago at the end of summer. I only spent two days there, but they were truly some of the best in my life. I saw Eric Prydz, Cristoph, and Frank Bono, unforgettable moments. Even more special was finally meeting so many people I had known online for years. It felt like almost the entire Pryda community gathered in one place.

Eric Prydz has been my biggest inspiration since I first discovered his music back in 2011, a direct shot to my soul. Because of him, I’ve met so many talented and kind people, many of whom I can now call real friends. Honestly, I don’t know who I’d be without his influence and his music. It’s the reason I started making music myself, and why I’m so obsessed with what I do. Someday, I hope to stand in front of a big crowd and share this passion.

Today’s episode is dedicated to our community. You’ll hear plenty of IDs from familiar names like Austin Pettit, Seizmic, and Connor Martin, along with released tracks from Mitch Kay and MadLine. Welcome to the first month of summer 2025! I’m excited to share with you Episode 23 of the podcast. Hope your summer is off to a great start and you’ve already made some beach plans!

This month’s episode is a special one. The first half is packed with fresh tunes, some about to be released, others recently dropped on labels like Sekora and UV. Expect deep, immersive vibes to ease you into the mood. The second half takes a nostalgic turn, diving into timeless classics from Pryda – Connexion straight into the legendary (but misnamed) "Pryda – Rage", which is actually a 2006/2007 track by Roman Rage.

You’ll also hear a few of my own productions, both released and unreleased. One I’m especially proud of is “Dandelion”, a new track that started as a rework of Eric’s EDC UK 2016 ID, but evolved into something completely original. Big thanks to my friend OTiS for suggesting I drop in the vocal from Cristoph – SFB, it turned out to be the missing piece.
