Arsenal are setting the early pace in the Premier League after making it four wins from four, but several of their expected rivals endured frustrating weekends.

Arsenal maintained their perfect start with a 2-0 victory at Sunderland, while Liverpool's inconsistent league form continued with a goalless draw against Fulham at Anfield and Chelsea needed an equaliser to rescue a 2-2 draw against newly promoted Hull City.

There's also plenty to discuss elsewhere: Nottingham Forest produced an impressive 2-1 victory at Aston Villa, Ipswich grabbed a dramatic late win at Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Brentford shared four goals, while Tottenham's 0-0 draw with Everton means Spurs have incredibly failed to score in their opening four league matches.
