The Erratic Podcast

For Episode 35 we present a very special, vinyl-only set from another Dutch master, DIMI ANGELIS. For the occasion, he dug deep into his record collection to put together this superb and unprecedented 80-minute mix of deep, raw, and obscure underground quality.

Looking into 2013, "I plan on continue working on new stuff for A&S with Jeroen Search and release my first solo EP." There is also a special project he's been working on with Jeroen as well, yet to be disclosed at the moment but due for announcement later this year.

So for now, stay tuned on these news, and just hit play and let the music do the rest ;)

Episode 34 comes from Dutch techno pioneer and legend, JEROEN SEARCH. In this installment he features 1-hour of sublime and futuristic techno showcasing his sound and skills. Looking forward to next year, as he put it himself, “[he’ll] be focusing more on production, less on remixes, and a lot on livesets", providing his audience with what he does best: straight up, cerebral techno.

Enjoy the superb and mental ride.

For Podcast Episode #31 we welcome aboard pivotal member of the recently established and acclaimed Techno label, Krill Music, and one of the rising South American figures within the genre, ESPEN LAURITZEN. In this great and very well crafted 1-hour mix he showcases his deep style and features the upcoming releases on Krill.

-

Espen Lauritzen, one of the driving forces behind Krill Music, was born in Norway but moved at age 2 to South America (Argentina) where he was raised. Being always strongly impregnated by music, in mid-2000 he became a regular DJ at Cocoliche, the only Techno club in Buenos Aires. There is where he met his first heavyweight artists from the Techno international and national scene.

Krill Music is a young Argentinean label founded in late 2011, when it debuted with the 'Transparent / Anklad' by AnD and Jonas Kopp. Throughout the year, the label has released three albums and promises to play an important role in the future of the Argentinian Techno scene. For its fourth release, the label welcomes the young artist from Italy, Raffaele Attanasio, who in turn introduces his new pseudonym 'X501' and a 'Bleak' Rework. For the 5th release, Krill Music is putting together a special release composed of 8 different artists and a double vinyl to celebrate its first year of life.

After a series of raw, dark, and hard-hitting podcast episodes, the Erratic podcast now presents an ethereal journey through the warm, dubby, and hypnotic textures of DADUB for its 30th episode, comprised of "the meeting of two minds" Daniele Antezza and Giovanni Conti - together producing a number of excellent releases on Stroboscopic Artefacts as well as mastering every track on the label through their innovative Artefacts Mastering.

This exclusive and exquisite piece is a live recording partially taken from their debut New York appearance when Erratic hosted them earlier this year, and carries their unique sonic characteristic –a pulsating intensity, contained not only across all of their live acts but is also found at the core of the Stroboscopic label.

So without further adieu, we are more than proud to announce this now, in advance of their first LP to be released on Stroboscopic. Sit back and absorb...

Erratic podcast episode #29 comes from one of the heaviest weights in modern Techno history, MAKATON. He is the owner of the obscure and acclaimed label, Rodz-Konez, and, as stated by the man himself, “this is a label mix representing the current sound of Rodz-Konez featuring Death Abyss, Tomohiko Sagae, Israel Vines, Inigo Kennedy and Makaton.” He kindly took time from his busy schedule at the moment (involving working on his own LP project) to put together this exclusive 50-minute Techno showcase for us. And we are extremely grateful for the opportunity. Please indulge and enjoy.
