The Erratic Podcast

The next installment in the series this month comes from another great Spanish artist whose sound and style are both powerful and borrow from different techno derivatives, H. PAUL. He is no stranger to the scene of the Peninsula and has been curating his own imprint Induxtriall Records for over 5 years. In this exclusive studio mix for The Erratic Podcast Paul delivered one of his most interesting, diverse, and impressive outputs to date -- the flow, programming, and build-up are all equally as surgical as they are extraordinary. This is H. Paul live in the mix. As always, sit back and let the music take you :)

Continuing with the Spanish showcase of talent this month, the next podcast episode comes fresh off the North of the Peninsula at the helm of a rising and very talented artist, RUPTUR3. He debuted on PoleGroup's Aine last summer and later contributed to the "Free Inspiration Treaty" in the fall, a compilation of young artists with tremendous potential. Exclusive for his contribution to The Erratic Podcast, Christian weaved together an exceptional piece of electronic music, cursing the visceral and electrifying connections between machines and sonics. The journey and story is one of the most unique the series has received yet. This is Ruptur3 live in the mix. Please Enjoy!

Heads up folks! What we have next is 1 hour of surgical and quintessential techno mixed exclusively for The Erratic Podcast by one of the leading techno stalwarts the Spanish Peninsula has to offer, TENSAL. One half of the widely acclaimed and long-standing duo from Spain, Exium, Hector Sandoval started releasing under this new moniker and side project almost 3 years ago. At the core, the sound is powerful, functional, and minimalist... based on "cyclic lines and vintage synthesizers." The podcast you are about to listen embodies all these qualities and even more – it encapsulates almost two decades of musical experience and evolution not only within the genre itself, but as an artform and mode of expression as a whole. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Tensal live in the mix. Please sit back and ENJOY!

Wicked new show we have by one heck of an artist, dj, and producer hailing straight from Malta, SONITUS ECO. With many years experimenting with sound design and electronics, he launched his own imprint last year, Haar Records, where the 1st release (a Various Artists compilation entitled 'Precipitation') is as diverse and penetrating as his own palette of scrumptious sounds. Exclusively for The Erratic Podcast, Justin put together 1 brilliant hour of absolutely mesmerizing rhythms in which he dexterously weaves in and out of tonalities and emotions offering the listener nothing but the sonic quality, and journey. Very glad to have him featured in the series showcasing his unique sound and skills. This is Sonitus Eco live in the mix. Enjoy!

What a phenomenal show we have for you as Erratic Podcast 140. Our next guest graced the series some years ago and is now back under her new alias, INSOLATE. Formerly known as Miss Sunshine, she is one of the finest techno djs Eastern Europe has to offer and her reputation and experience more than speak for themselves: she is an exceptional deejay and producer, event curator, and recent label owner boasting two decades into her career, thus far. Her newest venture, her own imprint "Out Of Place", is fresh and exciting, and home to her latest output under Insolate -- pure, raw, acid sounds. Responsible for curating shows at her Croatian hometown venue of Traum, her contribution to The Erratic Podcast is the recorded set from her New Year's Eve gig, where she took the local audience on a 3-hour joyride of deep and driving techno. This is one of the most interesting contribution's we've received as intertwined with the onslaught of unapologetic, pounding techno you can hear the crowd in the background having one of the best times of their lives. And rightly so: the journey is unique, the music elevating; and the mixing extraordinary. Without further adieu, here it is folks! Insolate mixing live from Traum. Sick back and enjoy! :)

HAPPY 2017 FOLKS! We are super excited to present our first podcast of the New Year featuring an extremely talented artist who has been on our radar for a while, REFRACTED. Originally from Spain but based in Berlin for several years now, he has been releasing exquisite productions for Silent Season; his own Mind Express; the inauguration EP of Polegroup's digital-only sublabel, Aine; and most recently his one-tracker to Polegroup's Unknown Landscapes Volume 4.

As you will soon hear, Refracted's mixing skills are unique and incomparable, always weaving in and out of different techno styles and tempos equally as masterfully as effortlessly. His contribution for us is a Live recording from his recent warmup set at Globus, Tresor, where he delivered an absolutely astonishing, mind-blowing set. It is perfectly balanced, captivating, and most importantly it is the essence of what music represents to him "it is all about connections and it's at its most vital when it speaks to you in a voice only you seem to hear." Ladies and gentlemen, this is Refracted mixing live from Tresor. Enjoy this hour-long masterpiece!

Once again, we have another outstanding LIVE contribution to The Erratic Podcast – MICHAL JABLONSKI. Hailing from Warsaw, Poland, Michal is a great, young talent whose passion for techno started by playing vinyls and after experimenting with sounds, later developed into an energetic Live act solely composed of his own music. Borrowing from broken beats and straight, driving kicks his live recordings are unique, organic, and glimpse the audience into beautiful fragments of tightly arranged and finely produced multi-faceted techno. Without a doubt, the next hour is a very impressive showcase of Michal's complex palette of sounds along with his powerful, live deliverance. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Michal Jablonski performing LIVE exclusively for The Errratic Podcast. ENJOY!

Sound, when alive, is a restless organism… and the sound that rises from Stefano Aimola's and Daniele Mariani's production, is one of a pulsating life in continuous and relentless evolution; the simple attempt of defining it ends up bridling even the farthest idea of prismatic production. In short, we are supremely excited to present to you the next installment of The Erratic Podcast - Episode 135 as a Live recording that transcends all notions and boundaries, and breaks through all our prior precedents. Their combined experience in clubs has taught the two of them the rhythm of night and dawn, but what's inside OUTPOST, is also the result of an immense study.

These are seeds whose mysterious growth cannot be told but just enjoyed. The journey we are presenting to you right now is concrete and pulses, unapologeatically, thru the nerves of who is in it at the moment. It departs from internal dimensions to shape (albeith just apparent) a distant Earth. It moves between the broken rhythmics of hypnotic loops, which are bridled by distortion chains, delays and reverbs. And finally, the supremely, ethereal journey lands to resonate as a new aesthetic and awareness, as a completely cleansed and new approach towards the sound matter.

Please, sit back and enjoy. And once again, this is OUTPOST Live exclusively for The Erratic Podcast, Episode 135.
