Danny was previously the Community Director/HR Rep for Astral Authority, the Talent Acquisitions Officer for Lethal Gaming, and a community member for AS1 Network. On this episode we talk about determination and figuring yourself out and why esports is so exciting.

Carman is a University of British Columbia Alum, she co- founded the collegiate esports organization UBCEsports in 2012. She personally managed the ubc esports League of Legends team for the last 5 years and worked closely with Riot on their collegiate program from time to time.

Avery Lussier is the founder of ViiTaL Esports (@ViiTaLeSports), which started in 2014 as nothing more than a Call of Duty Ghosts Clan. Later Avery decided he wanted to make ViiTaL more than a name, more than a clan but an organization everyone could be proud of. In 2015 ViiTaL officially pursued the eSports scene and began the legacy of ViiTaL eSports.

A longtime veteran of the entertainment world, Marty "@Lazerchicken" Strenczewilk worked in theater, film and television for over 10 years, primarily in New York city. Esports started as a passion when he began writing blogs and managing class guides for World of Warcraft. He landed his first esports gig at a startup, where he led production on one of the most successful first-time broadcasts of a World of Warcraft tournament. He then went on to found Splyce in the winter of 2014 with his wife Meghan Strenczewilk (Business Director) and his longtime friend Vincent Garguilo (Creative Director). Software developer Jeff Appis was the 1st Splyce employee and is still there today.

Ramsey Jamoul is the CEO of Wichita eSports (@wichitaesports), which started as a student group at Wichita State University, now they are an esports startup focused on hosting semi-professional and collegiate video game tournaments. They are building a community that unites a variety of video games such as CSGO, Overwatch, Rocket League, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm and VainGlory.

Chris (@bahnism on Twitter) primarily specializes in Esports Photography, but he also does test shoots, portraits, editorial and event photography. His style is natural and photojournalistic and his photos feel like art.

Phillip ‘Coach Phil’ Jones is the coach of Splyce and a Halo veteran. He’s coached professional teams since the release of Halo 3 when he was only 15 years old. Now, with nearly seven years of experience, Phil’s wealth of knowledge helps his team keep composure and close out games. The team trusts in his expertise in and outside of the game. His highest achievements include taking home bronze at the Halo 5: Guardians showcase event at the 2016 Winter X Games.

Sam is a designer for Str8 Rippin, a veteran organization in the world of Professional Halo and Call of Duty which has been around since 2005. He also heads up the design work at Apotheon Esports where he designed their most recent jersey rendition and he has his own design studio where he offers creative services such as Logo & Branding, Stream Graphics & Overlays, Social Media Designs and Jerseys.
