My next guest piqued my interest and so I invited her to be a part of The Ethical Evolution.
Jennifer Pearson is based in North Carolina USA and is a Shamanic Minister, Spiritual Coach, Reiki Master and soon to be Shamanic Breathwork Facilitator. Of course, everything within her wheelhouse got me curious and I had a lot of curious questions just like what exactly does a Shamanic Minister do? I am super keen to try the Shamanic Breathwork though despite Jen’s description of her experience.
So let’s open up our minds and sink in for how shamanic principles align with the mission of this very podcast!

My next guest was recommended by Sam Skrivere from Ministry of Waste, who featured previously on The Ethical Evolution. Her mission to help Indonesia to manage their waste collided with the need to have sustainable clean drinking water - which is where my next guest comes in.

My next guest was recommended to me by another guest and I can totally understand why.
A former journalist and teacher turned activist and entrepreneur, for the past five years Jackie Faye has been working in a conflict zone.
She is the founder of She Can Tri. She Can Tri started on the basis of using sports as a vehicle for social change. To launch the organization she became the first woman to do six IRONMANs on six continents within one year.
She Can Tri's model is pretty simple. Women who participate in sports often become leaders. Leaders, from business to politics to the military, shape the world in which we live. She wanted to not just empower women who looked like her and were easy to reach, but she wanted to reach the women who needed it the most and thought if she could train women in Afghanistan then she could train women anywhere.
Jackie’s mission is to help empower women who have been oppressed through training in physical fitness - something for many of them they have never had the opportunity to ever do in their lives.
Get set to be inspired by Jackie’s tenacity and will to create collective change for women who need it the most.

My next guest approached me to be part of The Ethical Evolution and share her story of her quest to change gender parity globally, allowing for diversity in leadership in the workplace and in government. By making that collective change, the world can truly change and we are all responsible for making our contribution by noticing where it is needed.
Susan Sloan is the author of A Seat at the Table: Women, Diplomacy, and Lessons for the World. She works for a global nonprofit advocacy organization in Washington, D.C. engaging with diplomats, government officials, community organizers, and international leaders.
I’m truly grateful for connecting with Susan and know that we need to spread her message as far and wide as possible.

Alexi Bracey is a Thriving as you age Coach based in Toronto, Canada. Alexi's cancer diagnosis saved her life because of her tenacity and determination. Spending hours doing research at libraries and bookstores she conquered cancer without drugs, surgery or any medical intervention within a year. She has spent the last 20 years, learning all she could about health nutritionally, emotionally and environmentally. A recent trip to a nursing home changed her direction when she saw firsthand the devastating effects of dementia on some of the residents: no eye contact, no interaction, cutting up their food, feeding them. Even more shocking was that some of the residents were younger than Alexi. Today, she educates people that dementia can be prevented, stopped, and in some cases reversed.
In our discussion we talk about ageing and retirement and how our attitudes and language need to change, along with the food and care provided for the elderley.
