This episode features a world-leading performance practitioner, Sam Gibbs.  Sam is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Certified Athletic Therapist, and Registered Massage Therapist. He has a Master’s in Functional Medicine & Human Nutrition, a post-graduate certificate in Clinical Endocrinology, and a Masters in Applied Neuroscience from King’s College London and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience. He is a Partner and Director of Operations at P3 Health in Toronto a leading integrative health center focused on the treatment of chronic disease and dysfunction. He has been Head Therapist and Integrated Support Team Lead with the Canadian Men's National Basketball Program for over 24 years. He maintains similar leadership positions with other National Sports Federations and frequently consults with individual professional athletes and teams. He has been selected to multiple national medical teams for major international competitions in leadership roles. Sam is a founding member of Tomahawk Science, a leading full-service sports science consultancy based out of Chicago, IL that provides performance consultation and medical management for professional athletes of various sports.
