Mother Angelica: a cloistered nun who founded EWTN-The Eternal Word Television Network.

How could a cloistered (private contemplative) nun found such an international Catholic media empire? Only with the help and strength of the Lord. What compels a man to return to a place where his life is in imminent danger? This episode delves into the inspiring journey of Blessed Stanley Rother, a humble priest from Oklahoma who made the ultimate sacrifice for his faith and his flock.

Answering a missionary call in 1968, Father Rother served the Tz'utujil people in Santiago Atitlán, Guatemala. Amidst the turmoil of civil war, he became a beacon of hope, translating the New Testament into the native language and standing in solidarity with his parishioners. His unwavering commitment placed him on a death list, prompting a brief return to Oklahoma. Yet, his dedication drew him back to Guatemala, where he met martyrdom on July 28, 1981.

In this episode, we explore the profound lessons from Blessed Stanley's life:

1. Perseverance in Vocation: Academic setbacks didn't deter his path to priesthood.
2. Embodied Love: His actions reflected Christ's love in a war-torn community.
3. Legacy of Faith: His sacrifice ignited numerous vocations in Santiago Atitlán.
4. Universal Belonging: Every individual has a place within the Catholic Church.

We often hear about the Blessed Mother appearing to people, but how often do you hear about St. Joseph Apparitions? 

At the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe, NM, a group of Loretto Sisters asked St. Joseph to intercede for them. They needed to build stairs to their choir loft, which was never finished due to the architect tragically passing away. On the ninth day of the novena, something incredible happened that even 200 years later, pilgrims marvel at today.
