They argue that the natural law and the Scripture define religious pluralism as a sinful and non-Christian position, that Romans 13 does not give a blank check to the government, and that it is good for the magistrate to aid in the reformation of the church, as our fathers like Thomas Cartwright and John Calvin, among others, have said long ago.
