    In this session I had the opportunity to chat with the men of the 72 &10 Podcast: Duch, Tony and Quincy or better known as DJ socks with no sandals LOL. The guys dish on how the 72 & 10 podcast developed into what it is, they share the challenges that come with podcasting as a team but how at the end of the day it's about all of them and that there are no Bobby Brown's in this group! The men also share how they take care of themselves while working, podcasting and taking care of family. Lauren shares her battle with her own mental health issues growing up and how she stays healthy. Lauren shares her passion to educate others specifically girls within the black community by creating an organization called Black Girls Smile, Inc. She talks about her involvement within the Lee Thompson Young Foundation and their mission for spreading mental health knowledge within the community.   • Session 11: Spirituality and Mental health
    In this session I have the pleasure of chatting with Markias Littlejohn, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) from California whose also a speaker share his insight about mental health within the prison system and how mental health and spirituality can go hand in hand. Mr. Littlejohn is named 1 of the 15 black male therapists you should know with his prolific conversations that will have you become more intentional about your life, which is very fitting as he is called the "intentional" therapist.   • Session 10: Sadness vs. Depression
    In this session I am able to shed light on the difference between being sad and being clinically depressed. Often times we use depressed and sad interchangeably but there really is a difference between the two. Being clinically diagnosed for depression you need to at least display the symptoms for 2 weeks. Many people try to avoid feeling sad but the truth is we need to feel sad at times. Listen in as I dive into the importance of feeling sad and things you can do if you are clinically diagnosed with depression. We are still celebrating National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month and Purposeful Parenting Month.     I had the opportunity to chat with Rwenshaun Miller, MA who is a clinician in North Carolina, author, speaker and Executive Director and Founder of Eustress, INC. He is making a great impact within the black and brown community with bringing awareness to mental health and breaking down the stereotypes and stigmas. In this session, Rwenshaun will share his story and how he overcame the stigmas and stereotypes of men being real about their emotions and what's going on in their lives. He shares how he uses his platform to encourage men to seek counseling services and how he is able to create a safe space for me to share their emotions through his weekly conference call "Locker Room Talk".
