This week’s guest on the EVRYMAN podcast is Dan MacCombie. Dan was one of the first 17 men who showed up to the very first Open Source retreat in December 2016, before EVRYMAN had even left the nest. He showed up and he’s been showing up ever since, and has built much of the infrastructure of our events, and countless other parts of this organization. He sat in a men’s group for YEARS in college, was the co-CEO of Runa—which involved a truly wild run of time in Ecuador, and he has a wicked combination of a big heart and a goofy-big mind. He recently co-lead our last Open Source retreat on the East Coast, and he is an EVRYMAN coach as well.

This week’s episode is a throwback to the beginning of EVRYMAN. Two years ago Founders Dan, Sasha, and Lucas sat down in upstate New York to dream up the future of men's work. EVRYMAN has since grown into a true movement that is helping men slow down, connect and move fully into the lives they want.

Our guest this week has lived an enormous amount of life in a short period of time. Gabriel Rao was thrust into fending for himself and his siblings at age twelve. He threw on a mask of survival and convinced those around him that things were fine when they were far from it. Gabriel is an amazing example of resiliency and he has used this gift to slowly open up and move from surviving to thriving.
