There were enough reasons for Ben to leave after serving for 20 years and in the middle of a pandemic, so he started to consider the steps he needed to take for his transition.

With a buzzword like project management being thrown around quite a lot in the last few years, he had heard about the role, but at first he did not fully understand all that it could offer to a service leaver. Through courses and connecting with other project managers, he gained the insights and qualifications he needed to start his own project management career.
