I thought I would try something a little different I have been meaning to do for a while now. A solo podcast. Every once in a while you have the inclination to rant and when you have a podcast all the better. I hope you guys enjoy

In this episode I am talking about 3 topics.

The PTC write article criticizing Disney for migrating Marvel Netflix shows to Disney+

https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/disney-plus-daredevil-defenders-backlash-parents-group/?utm_source=pocket_mylist

Shawn Levy to Direct Deadpool 3 for 20th Century Studio (Disney)

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/deadpool-3-ryan-reynolds-shawn-levy-marvel-1235109465/?utm_source=pocket_mylist

Kathleen Kennedy says they have lightened up Obi-Wan from the original script

https://www.ign.com/articles/original-obi-wan-kenobi-scripts-were-too-bleak?utm_source=pocket_mylist

What do you guys think? In franchise films do you think that it is a trend for Studios to make adaptations more or less adult? Do you think that the discussion around "tone" in film is actually just a mask for others issues? What isn't being said that you think people should be talking about?

The news is out! Nier Automota is getting an anime adaptation, Pompo the Cinephile is coming to cinemas, White Fox has gotten into trouble, Mappa is focusing extra attention on CG animation and the big news about Funimation and Crunchyroll is no longer a secret! Hear all of this news and more!

The Winter season is shaping up to be far more interesting than at first glance we had thought. It brought with it some really great surprises. So much so that I would say this was a podcast in which I had more fun than I had in a while.

I also take full advantage of some new transition I procured for the podcast which I think really livens things up and offers for some nice punctuation in the podcast. I hope you guys are as proud of this episode as I am.

One of the best cinematic musical adaptations to have come out in the past decade has no doubt been Tom Hooper's Les Miserables. From the incredible music and vocal performances to the acting talent and brilliantly put together sets and the heart pulling dramatic story this is really a film for the ages. Listen to the Exiles as we talk about how we felt about the film, the musical aspects of it, our feelings on musicals in general and more!

We are back into the Netflix exclusive rabbit hole with "The King", a historical fiction based on King Henry directed by David Michôd and starring Timothée Chalamet which we learned is pronounced (Tim • o • Tay). Who knew? Thanks for the education Josh.
