“We accept the love we think we deserve.” - Stephen Chbosky

It’s no secret that we’ve had our own ups and downs in our lives and in our relationships. It’s as we navigate through these that we’re finding ourselves along the way. It isn’t always easy, especially when you make it a spectator sport. We’re inviting the Internet into our lives on a weekly basis, and we’re letting it all hang out. Some days, that’s really hard, and other days, it’s incredibly rewarding. But on all days, we learn. We learn what is most important to us, and we learn what we will no longer accept for ourselves, for each other, and for our beloved communities. Call us delusional, but we think we each deserve the world, so we’re gonna go get it for each other. 💖

  • Oprah: Shame, Blame & the Weight-Loss Selling Game*

“I took on the shame that the world gave to me.” - Oprah

This was such a powerful start to what we hoped would be, at the very least, a balanced conversation surrounding our beloved fat community and the current prescription weight-loss craze. Unfortunately, we were left disappointed, angry, and, honestly, sad. Join us this week as we dive into this hour-long special meant to alleviate the pain that diet culture and the weight-loss industry has inflicted upon us for the majority of our lives, only to find out that the message is still very much the same. This is a sensitive topic and an all-around sensitive conversation, and we hope you’ll take care of you and your mental wellbeing as we navigate these very murky waters together. ♥️

*Not the actual title of the special, but it kinda feels like it should’ve been. 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • Talk to Me Nice

Can you imagine a world where adults were more careful about the words they used around you? Can you imagine the money you could’ve saved in therapy bills? • Selling Out Ozempic

Sold out in stores. Sold out online. Have any of your favorite social media personalities sold out to the latest weight loss “miracle?” Now, don’t get us wrong. This is an extremely complicated topic, and we’ve got extremely complicated feelings. One of us is medically prescribed the “Shot-That-Must-Not-Be-Named,” and one of us has had weight loss surgery, and all of us have tried more than one way to shrink ourselves in a world obsessed with “fitting in.” Does that make us experts? No. Does that make us four human beings with very real and very valid feelings? It sure does. Let’s get into it! As always, if you love what we’re doing, give us a like, give us a follow, hit that subscribe button, and leave us fabulous reviews! And, if you don’t love what we’re doing, have the day you deserve!

  • The Curse of Curves
As lifelong fat gals, we’ve seen and heard it all. Trust us, no one is better prepared with self-deprecating humor than a girl who has, quite literally, been the butt of hundreds of cruel jokes from an unfairly young age. Finding community to relate our lived experiences with has truly been pivotal for each of us, and we’d like to give you a glimpse into some of those core memories. Join us as we discuss how our curves have impacted our lives from elementary school to the here and now, for better or worse. Sometimes, they’re a blessing and sometimes a curse.
