The Facial Recognition and Biometric Technology Moratorium Act was proposed last Thursday by two senators (Ed Markey and Jeff Merkley), and two representatives (Pramila Jayapal and Ayanna Pressley). The bill would put in place the first nationwide ban on facial recognition technology.
