When you find yourself suspicious of God, it’s time to start being suspicious of yourself and your interpretive biases and hermeneutical approach. God is not the problem. You are!
Luke 4:18
“Your walk with Christ should enhance your walk at the crib!”
Spouse (vv. 18, 19)
The only way to fulfill a vow, “…til death do us part.” is to die daily in your home.
Seed/Sire (vv. 20, 21)
It’s bad when Dad is a dream killer rather than a dream developer.
Slave/superior (vv. 22-4:1)
“Christians, act so differently in your relationships that the world will know that something has happened to you!”
Key # 1 is your what.
Key # 2 is your how (v. 17)
Key # 3 is your Why.

Homework: Score yourself in your various household roles. “How can I become a 10? What steps will I take immediately?”

Don’t just get your mind out of the gutter. Get it on God!

My temple
My tribe
It’s difficult to treat your tribe well when you don’t even know how to treat your temple well.
Homework: “Am I treating my temple and my tribe in a way that honors my God?”
I’ve upped my threads. (vv. 12-17)
Don’t be more concerned with having a nice look than you are with having a new life.
Homework: “Do I clothe myself from the inside out?”
