Even if it means embracing the name.  Often, we’re confused about our mission because we’re confused about our moniker. Homework: Ask God if there are any aspects of your life that are not submitted and need to be cut. He who is God gets the Worship! - Jesus is God. We kicked off a new series called Jesus is God this Sunday. The sermon series stems from a conversation Pastor Keith had with a taxi driver named abdhul. Week 1 of the series is taught from Revelation 4 & 5.    Sermon points  -- He who gets the throne gets the worship --   The Potentate that's necessary for worship (vv 2-5) To accomplish Biblical worship we must resolve, "Is God royalty and we regular, or are we royalty and He regular?"  The Peculiarity that's necessary for worship (vv 6-8) Worship isn't about how one looks but to whom one looks.   The Position that's necessary for worship (vv 9,10) Worship of God requires our knowing His place and subsequently knowing and assuming ours.   The Pitch that's necessary for worship (vv 10) Are your hands too filled to be lifted?   The Proclamation that's necessary for worship (vv 11) In worship your mouth matters!   - Jesus' wounds don't revoke His worthiness to be worshiped!  - He who is God gets the worship!   Homework: Is Jesus God to you?
