Today, you can buy an image of a fake person online—and use that person’s appearance on real websites.

Advances in technology allow artificial intelligence to create fake people. Computers can make these people appear old or young, with any gender or ethnicity of their choosing. These simulated people are popping up all over the internet as masks used by real individuals with nefarious intent.

It was a Trump Campaign promise in 2016 to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) also known as ObamaCare. Republicans throughout his four year tenure in office had promised that ObamaCare would be repealed. In this lame duck session of Congress and now having packed the SCOTUS with their appointees, Republicans are about to further do themselves in; canceling the Affordable Care Act in the midst of a pandemic. This is political theatre at it’s best.

The U.S. reported it’s 10 millionth case on Sunday, with the latest million added in just 10 days, as most of the country struggled to contain the outbreaks in the third and most widespread wave of infection since the pandemic began. Case reports have soared in the last week, shattering records. The U.S. alone accounts for about one-fifth of reported coronavirus cases in the world.

By now,we are all aware that the elections are over and the voice of the people have spoken. President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice-President Elect, Sen. Kamala Harris have won the necessary electoral college votes to propel them into the White House. The sitting President’s refusal to accept the Will of the people is problematic. His neophytes and surrogates are busy planning and strategizing to disrupt normal life for all Americans.

It ceases to amaze: immigrants and in particular, immigrants of color, consistently vote Republican, despite the Republican Party being anti-immigrant, racist, and prejudiced to those very same individuals.
