Following the observance of The Lord's Supper at Shelbyville Mills, Bro. Jono and Joe go through what the biblical ordinances are and what they are not. There is a proper way to approach the Lord's table and believer's baptism that is being twisted in many modern churches. Taking shortcuts and diluting the integrity of these practices is a rapidly spreading plague through Christianity today. 

In a previous episode, Bro. Jono and Joe discussed the importance of keeping Christ your "first love". We are used to using terms like "attraction" and "affection" to describe love in the human nature. What does that look like when applied to your love for Christ? Although emotions and feelings are not indicative of true salvation, they are a natural part of the christian's walk. A love for Jesus will manifest itself in a love for the things that He loves i.e. the church, scripture, the gospel and even the lost. 

This one attribute of Jesus is what sets Christianity apart from the other religions of the world. Our God is worthy. Of your focus, love, time, and life. To assign "worth" to anything else in your life is to put something before Jesus and a vain pursuit. Bro. Jono sits down with Bro. Jono and Joe discuss the pitfalls of open acceptance and the best practices for keeping a healthy membership.

A topic that many pastors may find self-serving, this is essential for a congregation to understand and practice. Financial generosity is a good indication of a healthy, biblical church whether it's supporting a pastor, or giving to world missions.

True worship is an active, audible, intelligent act. It is reserved for the holiness of our Lord, to an extent we won't fully realize until we are before the throne. Though singing is a central part of worship, the emphasis should always be on the preaching of the word and many churches find themselves getting this backwards to cater to the masses. When musical styles and preferences get involved, it is easy for your worship to become man-centered entertainment. Bro. Jono and Joe discuss how the modern day church has allowed emotion to replace reverence and emphasis on true worship.
