Bro. Jono and Joe discuss the ordination council hosted by SMBC examining Brock Kilburn. After growing up in the congregations of SMBC and sister church Christ Baptist, Brock has been voted in as the pastor of Liberty Grove Baptist Church. It's a beautiful and rare example of three churches coming together in solidarity to ensure God's will is followed. 

While SMBC continues to seek revival as a church body, Bro. Jono and Joe discuss what revival looks like to an individual and some of its misconceptions. Many christians go through seasons of complacency and mediocrity but it's the responsibility of the believer to continue to seek God's face, repent, and turn from their ways. In 2 Chronicles, God promises that doing so will always lead to revival in the heart of His people.

The truth is that Jesus addresses tithing in the new testament and it is a special act of worship that must not be overlooked. Everything we have comes from God so giving back should be a joy! God has promised to bless those who do so.
