One of the difficulties a pastor may face with new believers is determining if there has been genuine conversion. While we strongly oppose spontaneous baptisms, it can also be dangerous to stand in the way of someone who has been converted out of fear it may not be genuine. This is why baptismal counseling is so important. Bro. Jono and Joe discuss the process they have deemed most effective and why it is appropriate to do so. 

Cultivating close, intimate relationships with fellow believers is key to a healthy church body. An effective way to promote this is through a small group ministry that provides a place for discussion, fellowship, and outreach opportunities. Organizing and maintaining small groups can be difficult but it is worth doing to further engage your congregation.
