Hot off the press from the Court of Appeal, Re H-N and others (children) [2021] EWCA Civ 448 has the potential to redefine (or start to redefine) the way in which the Family Court approaches domestic abuse, particularly more nuanced allegations like coercive and controlling behaviour. Reacting to this with host Mark Ablett are Penny Howe QC and Jennifer Swan of Pump Court, along with Shonagh Dillon of Aurora New Dawn, a domestic abuse charity specialising in advocacy for victims and survivors.
