What we watched: Gladiator II. Who we watched it for: Pedro Pascal and Joseph Quinn. What we thought: There is unnecessary, there are vanity projects, and then there is Gladiator II which manages to be both while costing more than $300 million dollars.

What we watched: The Equalizer 2 (The Sequelizer). Who we watched it for: Pedro Pascal. What we thought: Aside from the war crime of a clean-shaven Pedro, we started forgetting this film while we were still watching it.

What we watched: Come to Daddy. Who we watched it for: Elijah Wood. What we thought: Emily spent the whole movie wondering what she did to make Mia so very VERY angry with her that she chose to inflict this movie upon her.

What we watched: The Island of Dr. Moreau. Who we watched it for: Fairuza Balk (technically) What we thought: The fact that there is an entire documentary about how completely insane the creation of this movie is should have told us everything we needed to know. Unfortunately, we did not heed the warnings...

What we watched: The Woman in Black. Who we watched it for: Daniel Radcliffe. What we thought: Baby Dan Rad gets a pass simply because he was trying SO HARD not to be Harry Potter in this. So hard.

What we watched: Poolman. Who we watched it for: Chris Pine (Best Chris). What we thought: Chris Pine should be proud of the fact that he made $10 million dollars look like a $12,000 student film. But that's pretty much where the pride should end. A swing and a miss, big guy. You'll get 'em next time.
