What we watched: Risen. Who we watched it for: Tom Felton. What we thought: If they'd stuck with the CSI: Judea they started with in the first half, it would have been solid. As it is, this would have been much more enjoyable as a Veggie Tale.

What we watched: Halloween H2O: Twenty Years Later. Who we watched it for: Jamie Lee Curtis and Josh Hartnett (and his terrible hair). What we thought: Fun and silly, just long and violent enough, but without the usual Halloween merriment that Michael Myers is known for carrying in his heart.

What we watched: Virus. Who we watched it for: Jamie Lee Curtis. What we thought: Jamie Lee refers to this film as 'the worst movie ever made'. We are inclined to agree, Ms. Curtis.

What we watched: The Mummy (2017) Who we watched it for: Marwan Kenzari. What we thought: A spectacular waste of time and money and nothing could have prepared us for the jump scare of Russell Crowe's supporting role.

What we watched: Looney Tunes: Back in Action. Who we watched it for: Brendan Fraser. What we thought: It's no Space Jam, but it's still a delight.

What we watched: Point Blank. Who we watched it for: Anthony Mackie. What we thought: This movie is best served by pretending it's just Sam Wilson on his day off, dealing with Brock Rumlow in between The Winter Soldier and Civil War. Cap 2.5, if you will.

What we watched: Pain & Gain. Who we watched it for: Anthony Mackie. What we thought: This movie was an assault on the senses and a terribly accurate depiction of Miami in the 90s.

What we watched: The Quiet Ones. Who we watched it for: Sam Claflin. What we thought: Poorly named, but otherwise a perfectly passable C- of a horror movie.

What we watched: Hitman. Who we watched it for: Timothy Olyphant. What we thought: The fact that the studio fired the director and had to reshoot and edit half the film should have told us everything we needed to know.

What we watched: Five Nights at Freddy's. Why we watched it: Josh Hutcherson. What we thought: We are so sorry FNAF fandom. You guys waited 10 years for this and it was...a mess.
