The Fan Weekends

In the third and final hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, The Judge stayed in the courtroom. On the Eve of Jonothan Cooper’s trial, Dan breakdowns the possible outcomes surrounding the looming case. Shiloh Sanders and Coach Prime are due in court this week. The judge keeps you up to speed on the new information.     

For the second hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan talks with Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan’s Andrew Mason about the 53-man roster. Who gives you the most confidence as the backup Quarterback in orange and blue? Find out who Andrew Mason and Dan believe gets the nod.

Rounding out the hour, The Honorable One Holds court and reviews the case docket on Denver Sports. Tune in to hear Dan’s rulings and motions.

In the first segment of The Dan Jacobs Show, The Guys open with the Denver Broncos preseason finale vs the Minnesota Vikings. Sean Boyd had boots on the ground at Empower Field, Dan and Sean reviewed the game notes and talked about the environment experience for fans.  Dan also recapped the first round of cuts for the Denver Broncos.  

Marcello Romano and Kyle Reese are in on Sunday morning. It's cut down day in the NFL where rosters are trimmed down to 53. Will there be any surprise cuts for the Broncos? Takeaways from the preseason finale on Friday night vs. the Vikings. Cale Makar signed his 8-year extension with the Avalanche. Could a move for goaltender Connor Hellebuyck be next for the Avs? The guys take a Sunday Stroll touching on the Tour Championship and the possibility of the Broncos signing LB Bobby Wagner. 

In Hour 2, more talk about the Broncos trimming down their roster to 53 players by this afternoon. Where, if any, are the position battles on the roster? Could Cody Schrader possibily make the team following an impressive preseason? Jahdae Barron continues to be less than impressive - he'll make the team, but how long before he will be labeled as a bust? 3 questions with Alex Becker: Broncos potential first-time Pro Bowler, Pat Surtain #10 on the NFL Top 100 and will Shedeur Sanders ever become a full-time starting quarterback in the NFL? 

In Hour 3, Kyle, Cello and Alex Becker get into some college football talk, taking a look at the season outlook for Colorado and Colorado State. Who do the guys think will win the national championship this year? A conversation about the college football eligibility rules and how they need some fixing. More Cale Makar and Connor Hellebuyck talk. Dan Jacobs joins the show for the final segment, talking about tanking in sports and the mess that is the Miami Dolphins. 

For the first hour of The Dan Jacobs show, Dan has some beef with the idea that the Broncos aren't the favorites to win the AFC West.  We then welcome in the lovely and talented James Merilatt to bring his usual optimism and uplifting commentary on the Broncos new stadium and backup QB competition.  

In the second hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan gets into the record breaking Cale Makar contract and how he thinks it will affect the team going forward.  Dan finishes out the hour by breaking down the Jonathon Cooper situation and whether he will miss any games. 

For the third and final hour of The Dan Jacobs show, Dan talks about the Broncos ownership taking tax payer money and if that would affect the priced of potential PSLs.  We then re-visit our interview with the lovely and Talented James Merilatt for those who missed it.  And Dan closes out the show by getting into the specifics of parking lot M and the area around it.

In Hour 1 of the Dan Jacobs Show, Dan gets into the Broncos stadium situation and brings on the legendary Woody Paige to discuss a variety of topics, but most notably the stadium situation. What does Woody think of it being in Burnham Yard? Woody tells a couple stories, as he has seen pretty much everything in this town over the last 40+ years. Dan and the textline react to what Woody said.
