Dr. Brown has long been a student of enlightenment. And although he has now written a definitive book on the subject, he says that when it comes to living in an enlightened way, there is always room to grow.
Unlike his previous book on personal growth, Dr. Brown’s latest book, Live Like a Window, Work Like a Mirror: Enlightenment and the Practice of Eternity Consciousness, was not born from his years as a psychologist or from personal experience. “It just came to me, one of those fortuitous, life-enhancing insights we occasionally receive that I am more than happy to share.”
Dr. Brown practices psychology and teaches meditation using EEG biofeedback, a method of biofeedback that records the brain’s electrical activity through sensors placed on the scalp and sends information to the brain to help it learn much more quickly. This is a highly effective therapy for stress-related problems as well as a means of teaching meditation.
