On this busy wrestling weekend, why not listen to the Jerks talk about MORE wrestling? On tap this month are two amazing matches and a fun kaiju movie starring one half of the Golden Lovers, Kota Ibushi.

Doug chose two brilliant matches against Kenny Omega and the Ace himself, Hiroshi Tanahashi. And, the dynamic duo watched and discussed the 2016 kaiju comedy, Kaiju Mono. This episode is going to be hard to top!

Mania was pretty good but we had so much to talk about that we barely mentioned it. In fact, we even barely glazed over the sale of WWE. We had REAL RASSLIN’ to discuss with LVAC Commish joining us this month. That’s right, move over Fed, move over TK and AEW, it’s all about indie wrestling, with heavy does of Ultramantis Black, Jeff Cannonball, Myung-Jae Lee, and – of course, Big Dan Champion!

Chris brought with him an early oughts actioner by the name of The Marine, starring a pre-Hollywood-cash-cow John Cena. In addition, the three of them each chose a John Cena match to discuss… and no suprise who chose the worst of the bunch. But, alas, a good time was had by all!

Most importantly, LVAC has a few upcoming events (see above flyers) and you should check them out, all event info is available at their Facebook page. Additionally, you should go to xLVACx.com to order badass T-Shirts of your own or merchbin.net to buy other cool swag from LVAC and their affiliates.

If interested in purchasing on the badass shirts they printed for this podcast, shoot Justin a message or stay tuned for official ordering info at The Farsighted and the Curtain Jerkers social media accounts (links to Twitter and IG below)!

So… Pro Wrestlers vs. Zombies… yup, definitely a movie. But there’s not a lot of great things to say about it, sadly. Thankfully, there are a ton of great things to say about Matt Hardy’s wrestling skills, especially in some iconic tag team bouts! There are a bounty of great Hardy matches, but we chose 3 for this month: the classic original TLC match, a great Kevin Steen singles match from ROH, and Hardyz face off with the Briscoes, in honor of the late great Jay Briscoe.

Reach for the Sky! This month was a ton of fun, even if the movie wasn’t. The matches were a real treat this month. We got to chat about the latest AEW PPV, too!

Thanks for listening and we’ll be back with a special guest next month, just in time for Mania!

This, our 15th episode (and slightly belated January episode), features good and bad lucha. The good comes from the Silver King and the bad from the silver screen. While Justin is surely a fan of Nacho Libre and Doug is surely not, they can agree that the wrestling in the film is not so great… but the actual matches they cover from the legendary luchador Silver King, on the other hand.

We touched briefly on the sad passing of Jay Briscoe, but in late February we’re taking on some classic Hardy matches and including a bonus third match of the Hardys vs. the Briscoes, so we can spend a bit more time on Jay in the ring and the mark he’s left on wrestling.

Thanks for joining us each month and if you have requests or ideas, feel free to let us know! For now, enjoy the show and watch Jack Black serenade you below!
