On Wednesday, I was honored and happy to preside at the Brother Rice all-school Mass. I was principal at Brother Rice prior to my decision to join the priesthood. Such a joy to pray with these young as they begin their journey as fine young Christian men. Blessings to all of the students as they continue their education.     

Our difficult decisions about end of life issues may be made easier if we take the time to express our wishes about end-of-life treatments before illness strikes. We have the ability to plan in advance to ensure that our wishes are recognized.

I recently came across an interesting article on the website ‘Catholic Online.’ It was a list of the Top 10 most popular Catholic Prayers. We all pray. I like a quiet place where I know I can meditate and have a conversation with our Lord. Let us Pray.

I did my first three years of theological studies at Catholic University in Washington, DC. I was asked if I would like to do my final year at The Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy. In 1996, I did an additional two years of study in Canon Law, also in Rome. Let me show you around my home.
