I can't remember the last time I was asked, "What was my favorite thing to do as a kid?" "My Favorite movie?" "Who most inspires me?" Well, my co-host Ken Calvert played a game of 'gotcha' and I hope you get to know a little more about me. Peace and enjoy!  

Trust me, we can all use a total 'reset.' Retreat means a place you can go to be alone, to get away from it all. Time spent away from one's normal life for the purpose of reconnecting, usually in prayer. Peace and enjoy!

I have many friends and neighbors who attend Church. “Spoiler Alert”, they aren’t always Catholic. Friends and parishioners will ask me the differences between the various denominations of Christian Churches. On today’s Fr. Joe Podcast, I will do my best to explain.

We received an email that reads, "As Christians, we have many options and venues where we can worship. That includes televangelism. Why should Mass be my only option?" 

Bah Bah Bah Bah..."Do I Call You Father Joe, Officer Joe or Both?" His name is Grimaldi, Father Joe Grimaldi, JCL. A distinguished, well-educated and well-traveled Catholic Priest. He was once a cop in Watsonville, California. This is his story. 

The rate of suicide in the United States increased 28 percent from 1999 to 2016, according to a report last week from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2016 alone, 45,000 Americans took their own lives. You would think that we were in the midst of a suicide epidemic, an alarming prospect that was underscored by the deaths last week of both Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain. It's time we talk about suicide.
