Today I would like to talk to you about St. Thomas Aquinas. He was a Doctor of the Church and ranked his feast with those of the four great Latin fathers: Ambrose, Augustine of Hippo, Jerome and Gregory. In 1880, Saint Thomas Aquinas was declared patron of all Catholic educational establishments. He had the nickname “Dumb Ox.” I’ll explain. Peace be with you.

If Saint Paul were alive today we may consider him to be a “Bully.” Prior to meeting Jesus, he berated the Christians. What a wonderful event we had here in Detroit at Ford Field with over 66,000 members of the faithful in attendance. People came from all over the world for this blessed event.
