Love will cause you to do sacrificial things.  Scripture says that no one could take Jesus' life, but He laid it down (John 10:18).  It was the joy that was set before Him that caused Jesus to endure the cross.  There was delight in the fellowship that would result from the cross.  As a response, the Lord calls us to take up our crosses, denying ourselves, and following Him as true disciples and lovers of God. A praying church is a powerful church.  A praying person is a fruitful person.  One of the most fruitful contributions made by true disciples on behalf of the body of Christ is to become an individual with an authentic prayer life.  What if a part of our prayer life was to fill our prayer time with intentional thanksgiving and blessings spoken on behalf of others?  Pastor Chris Jones urges the church to pray for each other, not only out of need or duty, but constantly, and out of a sincere heart and affection for one another.  It's a discipline that turns into love.
