  • 081: Business Lessons I Kept On Learning In 2015

Another year is coming to a close.

How did it go? Did your busy grow? Did it stay the same? Did you launch? Were you happy?

Perfect time to take stock of all the things in your business and life that happened. The good and the bad.

Because I always look for the lesson in whatever challenges me and my wins too, I sat down and thought of the biggest ones from 2015. They are likely not the first or last time I have talked or will talk about these lessons…

Running a business requires constant, ongoing improvement. So, here’s what I was reminded to improve every year. Again.

If you’ve ever wondered why you aren’t making a bigger splash, more money, growing at the pace you think you should, you might need to learn some of these lesson too. Read the full post here: http://www.annesamoilov.com/biggest-business-lessons-2015/

  • 080: 3 Ways To Planning A Year Of Launches That Won't Kill You In The Process

You’ve got this launching thing down.

You did your first product launch – not a lot of sales, but your list grew, you’re getting rave reviews about your program. You done good.

You are excited – a little pumped – and extremely proud of yourself. You feel like finallyyyy “you get it”.

But you’re feeling something else too.

    EXHAUSTED.

You keep thinking, “I’m supposed to do this again?”

How are you supposed to turn back around and do another one? I mean really?
    Another one? This year?

The emotional rocking that happens during a launch can’t really be understood until you go through it.  Putting yourself out there, putting your energy into a launch, being open to that success or failure. It’s draining on so many levels.

And – if it’s draining for you – it’s draining for your customers too.

But you can avoid launch exhaustion easily.

With what I like to call – A PLAN. (shocker, I know!)

  • 079: Doing Everything Alone vs. Outsourcing Everything

Spend any time on social media, reading blogs, going to webinars, listening to business summits and you’ll hear one thing over and over.

You’ve got to outsource to grow.

And the idea is fine - it’s true. You need to delegate many things in your business.

But there are others who prefer to go it alone as long as they can - until they literally MUST hire people to help them.

    Is this the wrong approach?

    I say no...and maybe yes.

Today’s episode of the Fearless Launching show, I talk about three different paths you might choose depending on how new you are to business, your budget, your time frame and your experience with launching.

Hopefully, by the end you’ll know whether you’ll do it all alone, hire out completely, or take my third preferred option.

  • 077: Briana Borten on Creating and Launching a Physical Product (like her Dreambook + Planner)

Ever thought of creating or launching a physical product?

I have...and it shouldn’t surprise you that about a year ago I was entertaining the idea of launching a planner! After a few months of materials research, I made the decision to stop that process...and said, “nope”....I wasn’t ready to go down the road of manufacturing, choosing paper, testing, finding a printer.

Only a few short states away, my friend Briana who had been creating different types of products for years for her spa and massage clients (we’ll get into that in the episode)...was in the process of creating HER own planning system...one that included dreaming as an integral part.

She and her husband co-created the Rituals For Living Dreambook + Planner to assist people ready to transform their lives into something free, happy, and successful.

  • 075: Periscope marketing, building relationships, and selling more with Zach Spuckler

Zach Spuckler and I start talking about launching without email and spend most of our time talking about the importance of selling through connection.

As you listen to today’s insightful interview, you’re not going to hear some fancy schmancy new tactic that you’ve never heard before or a super juicy “I’ve never heard that”...and that’s what makes our conversation so important.

    We talk about:

    • What Zach started doing at 13 years old that planted the seeds for his current online business
    • His big a-ha while working in direct sales
    • Why he stepped back from his Vegan blog
    • Why his first product was NOT a Facebook Ads product
    • What he reminds people about success and failure on every single #Scope

    • 074: 3 Launch Tweaks I Discovered Through Accidents, Mistakes, and Unintentional Hacks
Who doesn’t like a good story about a wrong turn that changed everything?
When you discover things “by accident” in your business, they seem like they were destined to happen, that all your decisions led to that one moment where things broke down and then exploded your business.
The truth about “moving the needle” in your business is this.
You can move anything unless you’re testing, trying, and acknowledging what works.
Launches are great times to try new things.
