We are joined by Rev. Jenn Layte (a pastor, author, hospice chaplain, and more!) who shares her story of faith, struggles with doubt, being lost in the "wilderness", but ultimately recognizing God was preparing her to be a pastor at the Central Baptist Church in Southbridge MA. She discusses her journey from a dogmatic complementarian to faithful and confident egalitarian, specifically how God revealed to her the call to be a pastor/preacher who is a woman. She also shares her thoughts on discipleship, spiritual formation/direction, experiencing God, and Mary (whom she wrote about in her book "Favored One"). She'll be releasing a new book soon which explores the perspective of the apostle, Simon-called-Peter...Enjoy!

This is my new personal website, from which people can purchase my two existing books, as well as some art projects I like to dabble in: https://jenniferaglayte.com/shop/
Sign ups for Winter Solace retreat, Stepping Into the Story, and The Walk are all at https://the-pilgrimage.org. (Well--the Walk's isn't live yet, because it doesn't start until May.) I've also hyperlinked to the specific pages, as you'll see--you can decide how many links to include, I guess!
People can find Central Baptist Church services on our Facebook page @cbcsouthbridge, but also on YouTube (full service--not always posted timely!) and Podbean (audio of Scripture, Message in a Basket, and Main Message only).
I'm also always looking for new subscribers to my newsletter--it's primarily a Pilgrimage newsletter, but sometimes I update on my writing, art, or the church as well: https://the-pilgrimage.ck.page/9dda7ee667
