Lara Capuano joins us from Rochester, NY where she mothers her children, both biological and adopted. Lara also is a public speaker and church consultant, who speaks out regularly to educate and counsel others. She shares her spiritual heritage passed down to her through her mother's child-like faith, and through the trauma of losing her brother, Adam, at a young age. We're joined again by Chris Lazzaro, my dear friend and fellow traveler, even though we differ in opinion on the topic of theism and atheism. On January 6th 2023 I took the day to reflect on the historical celebrations of January 6th including the Feast of the Epiphany, The Theophany, and the Three Kings(Magi) Day. I also weave into my discussion the concept of "sacramental imagination"; how Christians of every age must re-imagine how the story of Jesus and the ancient Hebrews making it relevant and prophetic to our current moment. And it's sacramental because imagination is a sacred avenue for the grace and spirit of God. The conclusion was perhaps a fool-hardy and reckless, but none-the-less prophetic, admonition of the support and idolatry of the "Herods" of our time.

Keith Giles joins the Fellow Traveler to share his journey of faith and deconstruction. Although Keith wasn't raised in church initially, he had a deep connection and love for God at a young age. His family found themselves in the SBC tradition where Keith was ordained. He also got involved in the charismatic tradition through the Vineyard and his own house church in California. Now Keith is a great author, podcaster, and at times public speaker and debater! His latest book, "Sola Mysterium", highlights the need for a faith that is not merely ascended to intellectually but experienced in a relationship with the Creator and his Son Jesus.  We discuss some neat charismatic experiences that Keith has had as well as some practical wisdom on how to live in "Mystery"...Enjoy!

I'm joined by my dear maternal grandparents, Brenda and Richard "Dick" Pozzi. Dick, the son of Roman Catholic Sicilian immigrants, and Brenda, the daughter of Baptist New Hampshirites, find themselves in love in 1950s Worcester MA. Together they spend the next 60+ pursuing Jesus by way of Holy Spirit experiences in the Charismatic movement which emerged from the 60s and 70s.
