A unique orchestra has to have its own very unique repertoire. Since our orchestra set-up is nowhere to be found elsewhere, you can be sure that you are always listening to music that has been written exclusively for the „Orchester der Kulturen“.

Mixing the orchestral colors with ethnic instruments from around the globe is our speciality as is to incorporate an intuitive improvised approach with sophisticated arrangements.

Even if we base a composition on a known work as for example Mozart’s „Ave Verum“, our music director re-orchestrates for African and Asian instruments and added in this case a new rhythmic part that feels like the elaborate drum work of a heavy metal band, punctuated by the vocal impros of our very own Griot from Senegal, Kandara Diebate, and the classical voice of Andrea Colangna or Abeer Nehme.

Merging all these traditions and colors is not an end in itself, but a vivid example to what kind of heights we all can achieve if we use all the potential of humankind to synthesize it into a new symphony of sound,

King Tyguss is a Army Veteran, ROTC Cadet, and a Champion For Christ who attends Liberty University in Lynchburg VA. I make songs praising The Most High. I hope that it will truly inspire and motivate you to follow Christ.

Melbourne’s LNY breaks away from the superficialities of underrated music, and instead chooses to focus on what matters most — creating songs about the human condition and writes to connect to those who feel unheard. For LNY, music represents expression of emotion in its purest form.

Often sweet, melodic and warm in her vocal style, the Australian R&B artist delves into deeper themes of the human experience; grief, lust, hardship, pride, gratitude. Each hook, each rhyme and every bar comes from the honest journal writings of LNY who uses music writing as a form of therapy. LNY promises relatability, resonance and oozes self love.

MIKE POWER

As a veteran of New York City’s underground music scene, I played on the stages of such beloved lost venues as CBGB’s and Kenny’s Castaways, as well as stalwart survivors like Arlene’s Grocery and the Bitter End, as singer and guitarist with several bands. While quarantining from the pandemic, I worked remotely with other artists to record my first solo album, a collection of new music called Observations that Beat Buzz News calls a “great mix of old school NYC punk and acoustic gems.” My new album Compulsions was recorded this year with a wonderful band and producer at Vinegar Hill Sound in Brooklyn. Compulsions is available now wherever you get your musical fix.

Todd’s music is no country for old men. While he undoubtedly draws his sonic influence from titans like Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, his melodies skew modern. He plays almost every instrument, from piano to guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and drums, and the multi-instrumentalist doubles as a songwriter for himself as well as for other artists. “"If I can put a smile on someone’s face through song, well that just means the world to me,” he says. “I try to get to the real heart and soul of a song. To me, it's not just words but a story, and I do my best to portray that with every line. That’s my main draw to country music; the stories, the people, and the sincerity that comes from the heart."

Todd Barrow is making a name for himself as a country artist to watch. The Texas singer-songwriter has racked up more than a few accolades, from a PRSA Award of Excellence, an Akademia Award for Best Country Album, and an artist spotlight in Alternative Roots Magazine, American Pride Magazine and AVA Radio. He has appeared on television shows including Good Morning Texas with Jerry Matheny and Texas Music Café on PBS. He’s even shared the stage and studio with some of country music’s heaviest hitters, from CMA musicians in Miranda Lambert’s band to Fort Worth Producer of the Year Bart Rose. But it’s more than just Todd’s success to date that makes him such a compelling country artist. What’s most readily apparent in Todd Barrow’s music is his heart.

COCO FARMANI

My life long passion for poetry & music blossomed after a horrific life event this year. Music came to my rescue in the morning on April 23, 2022 when my son taught me to download free music from YouTube, load it into Logic Pro and record demo's of myself. From that moment on Writing Songs became my safe haven, my refuge from years of abuse, poverty, depression, abandonment and an impeding cycle of bad thoughts related to past memories, that were on repeat in my head.  **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
